It’s a fact that 50% of my closet is made up of white tops and dresses. But, I just couldn’t resist adding this one to my closet for Spring. A white smocked top is basically a staple piece that I think EVERYONE needs for Spring. First, they’re great for festival season (duh!). Also, they’re really easy to style for a casual outfit on the weekends. Don’t be shocked if you start seeing these boyfriend shorts in a bunch of my looks either! While they’re a bit of a splurge ($128), they are the perfect length and they aren’t tight on your thighs either. I bought them in the other wash too after wearing these 5 times in two weeks. Finish with your favorite flat sandals and saddle bag and you’re set.

White Smocked Top for Spring: Casual Spring Style
It’s been Spring for a minute now, but I think it’s finally officially official that it’s Spring across the US. That means barbecues, tropical vacations and… it’s time to break out your shorts! For me, it’s also the time I start to break out allllll the white smocked tops. The one I’m wearing hits on both the peasant blouse spring trend AND its smocked. So, clearly it’s a current fave. But, smocked tops can also be sheer (love this one!) or cropped too. While I love a good sleeveless option, I think the long sleeve ones are more my style.
My Favorite Spring Accessories
There’s almost no better match for a peasant blouse than a camel-colored saddle bag. Ever since the holidays, this one from Cuyana has been my go-to. The leather is so buttery soft and it fits my whole world inside (also comes in a smaller size).
My other must-have spring accessory are these sandals. Mine are from Greece and were custom-fit to my feet, but these are identical. White sandals just tend to go with everything from lightweight dresses to distressed shorts and denim and tank tops and cardigans. This pair has been around for a few seasons now, so you know they’re good.
Go grab your peasant top! Spring is here and we all need to soak it up.
