The trend I am loving most right now is white on white. That age-old myth about only wearing white certain times of the year is just simply not true. Forget what you’ve been told about after Memorial Day and before Labor Day – white is here for year-round wear.

Pleats have been seen all over the runways the last few seasons and for Spring they’re very popular in blouses. I’ve seen a few that I really like (here and here). This one at Banana Republic has a tiered look without the pleat, but it’s similar in style. I prefer this one from Club Monaco. There’s a tiny sheer detail that runs the length of the piece from top to bottom in the middle.
Finding a great pair of culottes was a challenge! I literally ordered 5 different pairs by various brands. I was about to give up until I purchased these by 1 State. Most pairs out there are high-waisted and that just doesn’t work well on my body type. These are double-lined (a MUST for white pants), and they flow beautifully. Best of all, they have just a bit of stretch in the back which help provide the perfect fit. Lastly, they’re light and feminine.
