There’s perhaps nothing more symbolic than a white jumpsuit for spring and summer seasons. It’s the time when white parties are popular, encouraging guests to embrace a dress code of all white ensembles. Tré chic! Nearly everything you’ll see is linen, and for good reason. It’s breathable! I picked up this white linen jumpsuit at Express recently and it’s going to be my go-to for day dates, date night and brunch with the girls.

How to Style a White Jumpsuit
My closet is full of white and light colors, so wearing something like this doesn’t scare me! But, I know for a lot of people the thought of wearing and keeping white clothes clean is challenging. Now that I have a son, I understand that on a whole new level. But, the great part about white clothes is that you can bleach them. So, don’t be afraid to get messy! Here’s how to style a white jumpsuit for spring or summer.
Add a Denim Jacket
Since many jumpsuits have short sleeves or spaghetti straps, you can get a little cold if you are indoors. To add some depth to your outfit, throw on a denim jacket (or shacket, like this one). You can wear it, drape it on your shoulders or tie it around your waist.
Throw on Sandals or Sneakers
Jumpsuits are incredibly easy to dress up or dress down! Since this one runs a little long and has the beautiful wide leg cut, I love pairing it with these block heels. But, it’s just as easy to throw on a pair of sneakers to keep the ‘fit more casual.
Keep Accessories Minimal
To keep the look feeling elevated, opt for a chic pair of sunglasses like these and a big pair of gold hoops to pull the outfit together.
Jumpsuits are so trendy right now. If you don’t own one, there are so many at great price points that you can try (like this one or this one). They make getting dressed a breeze and are a nice alternative to dresses or shorts in the warmer months. Have fun with styling it!
