This may be the first and only time you’ll see me rock a crop top on the blog! Crop tops have been so popular the last year or two and I just haven’t been able to bring myself to jump on the trend train. Maybe its my age. Aren’t only twenty-something’s supposed to wear those? Or, maybe it’s the fear of having my belly in public outside of a beach environment. In any case, I made a dive into the deep end of the pool and decided to live a little.

How to Style: White Crop Top
Truth be told, I scooped this little, white crop top up for my bachelorette party back in April in South Beach. But, with a big dinner out with the girls and some post dinner activities planned I decided not to wear it. Generally speaking, I’m not overly body conscious. However, Miami can be uber pretentious. My instinct told me to save this top for another time.
Crop tops can be overtly sexy by nature (hello, belly exposure!). Thankfully this one criss-crosses in front and wraps in back, so it was an easy way to dip my toe into this trend. I tried to sweeten it up by pairing it with pearl details, including my new Chanel bag (similar, more affordable option here) which you will be seeing A LOT more of in coming posts. This bag was one of those items where I knew that phrase, “Nothing haunts you like the things you didn’t buy”, was true.
Anyways, my necklace has these pretty drop pearls hanging from it and it’s a few years old from JCrew. I found this one from Tory Burch that’s super similar. Of course, you’ve seen me wear these white pumps before (including here and here) and I’ll continue to preach about them until you ALL have them! This is my second pair of Pact pumps and I’m sure there will be a third.
I’ve been really into Revolve lately (where I scored this top). Why you ask? Well, primarily because they carry a ton of brands that I don’t see on other retailer’s sites or in stores. Best of all – they have an abundance of items in different price ranges.
I hope you’re all having a great weekend! Be sure to follow me on my Instagram Stories tomorrow as I’m out and about in West Palm Beach!
