It’s time for another Wedding Wednesday post! Next week marks four months of marriage for us and I’m still reflecting on the best moments of wedding planning and that special day. With a destination wedding it can be especially challenging to come up with ideas for wedding favors that will travel well for your guests. I’ve found a ton of inspiration on Wedding Paper Divas for unique wedding favors using their interactive tool. Read more to see my top 3 picks.
I’m a huge fan of Wedding Paper Divas for a ton of reasons, including their amazing paper goods and personalized stationary. But, unbeknownst to me they’ve been building out a suite of resources to help brides-to-be pull their wedding plans together seamlessly. I had a chance to use their interactive tool that provides 100 unique wedding favor ideas and it was so much fun! You simply pick a category and sort through the images. Once you’ve made your selections, you can then use their personalized cards, seals or boxes to bring it all together. Right now everything is ON SALE for 25% OFF using code LOVELYSALE25 through October 4th. Below are my top 3 picks from their inspiration.
Top 3 Picks for Wedding Favors
Wedding Cookies
Honestly, who doesn’t love a great cookie!? And, when it has the bride and groom’s names on it – it’s even cuter. For a destination wedding, a handful of specialized cookies are a great option for wedding favors for guests. They can eat them over the weekend and don’t have to worry about traveling home with them. They’re also a delicious treat for the day after the wedding when the party has ended.
DIY Macaron Boxes
We actually had these adorable macaron boxes at my wedding shower and they were a HUGE hit! Firstly, macarons are delicious. Secondly, they are just so darn pretty. Plus, with two of them to a box it’s also small and compact for your guests. Of course, macarons come in a ton of different flavors too. So, you can coordinate these wedding favors with your color scheme
Wedding Koozies
I saved the best for last because I absolutely LOVE a good wedding koozie! My best friend got married last year and they had the cutest koozies in their favorite sports team’s colors (the Gators for her and the Eagles for him). We also made koozies for my bridal shower. These are a unique way to remember your special day in a wedding favor that really has a long shelf life with your friends.
If you think these ideas are great, you need to check out the Wedding Paper Divas site for more inspiration. It’s literally filled with other ideas for DIY gift or sweet and savory treats.
