Friendly staff. Superior service. Beach-inspired treatments.
Full disclosure – I’m horrible at slooooowing down. True to my sign (I’m a Scorpio), I have a hard time living in the moment and always seem to be planning my life out a few steps in advance. It’s a habit that’s honestly a little exhausting. And a few times a year I just hit a wall where I think to myself, I need a massage. Recently I had a chance to experience the new Spa at Auberge Beach and it was SO good that I promised myself afterward I wouldn’t let another six months go by without indulging again. Taking time for self-care and to invest in your mind and body is so important. It doesn’t just reduce your stress level. It has an overall benefit on your emotional and physical well-being. What’s a better investment than that?
Review – The Spa at Auberge Beach
First things first, I knew I’d love my experience at the Spa at Auberge Beach. How you ask? Well, back when Matt and I were wedding venue hunting in Napa Valley, we took a peek at Calistoga Ranch, which is also an Auberge Resort. Their properties are synonymous with luxury in my opinion. The group has an astounding attention to detail. And that is something that really sets them apart (as well as their spa options!).
Amenities at the Spa
So, back to the new Auberge Spa at Fort Lauderdale. It opened back in December and it’s HUGE at 15,000 square feet. From the second you walk in, you’re welcomed with calming neutral tones and several great areas to relax before your treatment. I went to the spa with Caitlin from SauciStyle and we were lucky to be greeted with some champagne as well!
While we girl-gabbed and caught up, we put our feet up in the Sound Meditation Lounge where they provide a curated selection of songs via headphones. If we hadn’t booked dinner after our appointments, I definitely would have come back to this spot post-massage to enjoy a little more self-reflection. The spa is known for its Self Guided Vitality Ritual which starts with the sound meditation, and is followed by 15 minutes in the Himalayan salt cave, followed by 15 minutes in the Infared Lounge and then 15 minutes in the Hot Steam Room. We bumped into a friend of Caitlin’s while we were there and she was raving about the steam room. So, next time I’m back – that’s on my must-do list.
Spa Treatments at Auberge Beach
My indulgence for the afternoon was the 80-minute Perfect Balance Stone Massage. Two salt stones are warmed up and rubbed over your body in between a medium-pressure technique with oil that soothes your muscles and body. I honestly can’t do enough justice for how incredible it felt. The last time I had a massage this good was on our honeymoon in Bora Bora three years ago! I’m sure all of the massage therapists are fabulous. Mine was Eloisa and I will be requesting her again.
Aside from various other massages and facials, the Spa at Auberge Beach also offers body wraps and detoxes. As well as manicures and pedicures. When we toured the facility, Eloisa let me know they have a couples massage room (totally taking Matt back!), as well as a room that accommodates up to 3 for a girls spa day!
After the Spa – Dine at Dune Restaurant
After our treatments, we had a chance to dine at Dune, the ultra-chic restaurant at Auberge Beach Residences and Spa. The decor at Dune is true to its locale and very beach-inspired with white table linens and stunning natural chandeliers (so on trend right now). Everything we had from the menu was delicious, from the bread that was served with salted butter to our fried calamari appetizer and grilled prime skirt steak. We didn’t get a chance to check out the outdoor bar. So I think that will be my next happy hour spot! Prices were reasonable too. It would be a great date night spot in Fort Lauderdale or for a special night like an anniversary.
My time at the Spa at Auberge Beach was incredible and I’m so thankful to the team at Alchemy Agency for inviting me out! If you have any questions on the spa or Dune, leave me a comment below!
