Ugly sneakers. Dad sneakers. Call them whatever you want. They weren’t for me. Nope. I wasn’t going to wear them. Never, I said! And yet… somehow here we are. I’m in these badass, pink leopard print dad sneakers by Pinko. Maybe it was New York City. Or, maybe it was the fact that they were so dang comfy. Whatever it was – they converted me. And is that sass you see in these pics? Why, yes it is. Combined with my fav faux leather leggings it was a deadly combination.

The Only Dad Sneakers I’ll Wear
Now Serving: Looks
Somehow in life, I inherited my dad’s sense of confidence and (what I think is) charisma. I’ve been lucky to feel like “myself”, regardless of most situations. But, I’m also a creature of habit, style-wise, and don’t tend to get too outside of my ‘neutral-for-the-win’ box. Fashion Week is the exception.
These dad sneakers just spoke to me. And, from the second I put them on – I was serving looks. I mean, just look at these pics! Who is this girl!? Those are the style moments and the pieces that you NEED to buy. This isn’t me saying you should try every trend or that every trend will work for you. But, every now and then you should push yourself out of your style comfort zone.
