Am I the only one stocking up on everything in this pretty dusty rose color? It’s definitely the color of the season and perfect for Summer style. I’m grabbing everything from dresses to tops and sweatshirts all in this pretty mauve tone that looks amazing with a gorgeous tan. One of the best parts of living in South Florida is the (normally) sunny weather that we have year-round. But, in the Summer the heat picks up even more and I like to show a little skin. This Chicwish dress is perfect for a cute date night outfit. We live in an area where they’re putting a bunch of new retail stores and restaurants right next to the beach. With it’s off-the-shoulder detail and ruffles, I’ll be wearing this out for drinks or dinner at least a few times in the coming weeks.

Easy Summer Style – Dusty Rose Dress
This past weekend I asked Matt out on a date. We’ve hung out with my family the last few weekends and I knew we’d spend Sunday with them for Father’s day. So, I wanted to get some quality time for just us. We planned to go to this pizza place that I love, but when we pulled up we found out they went out of business (womp womp!). Don’t worry! We didn’t let it get us down! We hopped on Yelp and remembered there was a little Italian place across the street that we’ve been wanting to try. Thankfully it was ah-ma-zing!
When it came to planning my outfit, I wanted to be a little sexy and show some shoulder. With the first day of Summer this week, I’m reaching for lightweight fabrics and easy silhouettes, like this Chicwish dress. I’m a regular shopper at Chicwish. They offer really cute items at great prices and they always feature a ton of neutrals (my jam!). Right now I’m focused on everything they have for great Summer style which is airy and soft. I’m loving this dress and this top will be another great date night outfit with my white distressed denim.
I also just ordered these sandals to pair with all my Summer looks.
