Often times these days it’s tough to identify what group of buyers a brand is trying to target with their clothing. Their designs feel forced or unauthentic – unrelatable even. To be honest, Free People is the exact opposite. They’ve come to define effortless bohemian style and they know exactly the woman they’re representing. She’s adventurous, free and empowered. Their boho style tops and dresses are the epitome of great Summer style and it’s that focus on a specific aesthetic that draws me back to buy from them time and time again.
With the heat in full force in South Florida, having a great boho top is key to staying cool. For my third post in partnership with Free People (be sure to check out the others here and here), I’m styling the Wildcat top, which comes in 4 gorgeous colors, including the pink lily color I’m wearing and a pretty blue shade called Marina.

Best Summer Style – Free People Boho Top
To me, Free People is more than a brand – it’s a lifestyle. As I’ve gotten older, my personal style continues to get more feminine and even more attentive to detail. I gravitate towards handmade items and I appreciate cozy sweaters that are woven and knit. I like pieces that I can’t find everywhere else. And, in short – that’s Free People.
So, when I want a boho top or a breezy dress, I don’t really look anywhere else. I just go right to the ‘Tops and Tee’s” section on their site and I always find a handful of options (or more!) that are exactly what I want. It’s only July, but it feels like Summer is never going to end here (I swear I’m not trying to complain!). But, I don’t tend to wear a ton of tank tops when I run out of the house. I still want to look pulled together and that’s why I love this simple cotton top. Just throw on your fave denim (mine are these AG Legging jeans) and a pair or sandals or flats and you’re out the door. Legit – I wore this top 3 times in one week for different things we were doing. It’s that great.
It might be this top this time, but I’m also eyeing this one (love the front!), this one and this one too!
