Mother’s Day is right around the corner and this year I ordered an extra special gift for my mom – a photo book from Artifact Uprising. If you remember, last year we took a mother-daughter trip to Paris (see my posts here and here) to celebrate her birthday and retirement. We spent a week exploring and eating our way through the idyllic city and captured all these wonderful moments in gorgeous pictures. But, then I needed a way for her to relive those memories throughout the years to come! So, for her gift this year I made her a hard cover book of that incredible vacation. After reviewing my options, I selected Artifact Uprising to create the book because their quality is honestly next level. The process of selecting the style you want, uploading your pictures, arranging them and then printing the book is seamless. Mother’s Day – made! Use code ‘AGL15‘ for 15% OFF through May 4!

Mother’s Day Gift – Hard Cover Photo Book from Artifact Uprising
My mom is truly my best friend. We talk countless times throughout the week and she knows most things going on in my life before I’ve even told some of my closest girlfriends. So, when I decided I wanted to make her a hard cover photo book for Mother’s Day, I sought out the best company to make it through. Only the best for mom, right!?
That’s when I found Artifact Uprising. I’d seen them before (I think through Instagram), but hadn’t used their service. Now, I won’t use anything else.
To be clear – they offer WAY more than just the photo books. They also offer printed photos, gallery frames, cards, calendars and more. But, I wanted to give my mom a classic, coffee-book that was editorial in style. This hit the nail on the head and then some!
Making a Photo Book with Artifact Uprising
To make your book, it’s SUPER easy. First, I created a folder of the photos I wanted to use on my laptop and then I started my order for the book. I selected the 8.25 x 11” in the smoke color and chose a full cover jacket so the picture could be as big as the book itself (with a pretty title underneath). Then, I simply selected my layouts for each page (they have automated options on the left hand side you can drag and drop) and added in the photos! They offer 50, 100, or 150 page books. I went with the 50 page option and then just added pages as I needed them (which was super convenient).
Since we’re going to Italy next week, I gave my mom her gift early yesterday and you should have seen the look on her face! It was like she was back in Paris at the Eiffel Tower and drinking hot chocolate at Angelina. The book transported her back and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
