In one of my recent posts I talked about how I love discovering new brands. But, you know what’s better than that? Finding out about new lines from a brand you already love, like Old Navy! For all the times I’ve shopped there (I honestly lost track years ago), I hadn’t tried the Old Navy activewear collection. As apart of my partnership with them for the #SayHi to Summer campaign I finally got my chance! Keep reading below to see why I think their leggings are better than big name workout brands below.

#SayHi to Summer with Old Navy Activewear
So, before I review the Old Navy activewear I need to mention a few things about when and how I workout. Firstly, I don’t wear nearly as much makeup as you see in these pics. But, I do wear some. I wish I could tell you I go to the gym fresh faced. It’s just not the case. And, before you go judging me – just know that I support women feeling good about themselves in (nearly) all situations. If you need a full face to go workout, then so be it. It’s not great for your skin though. My face tends to be a place I don’t really tan. So, I like to apply a tinted moisturizer (my fave is the Laura Mercier Illuminating).
Secondly, I don’t wear jewelry when I’m working out, except my gold anklet (it next to never comes off). I’ve lost necklaces and earrings while running before so I keep that to a minimum. Lastly, I workout in the morning. When I was younger, this didn’t used to be the case. But, with all the things going on in life I find it easier to get it done first thing.
With that all said, let me get back to my review of the Old Navy activewear line. The timing of the collab couldn’t have been better. I recently decided to re-join the gym (I’ve been going to Pure Barre or hot yoga classes or running outside the last few years) and I needed some fresh workout gear. I snapped up this adorable flyaway tank in white to wear with these grey compression leggings. The tank is very cute and not too tight. You can adjust how tightly you tie it in the back too. It comes in 5 colors and is under $20!
Where do I start with the leggings?! They are AMAZING! The grey pair that I got are textured and they’re super soft. But, the best part is that they’re high-waisted. Plus, the fact that they’re compression leggings means you aren’t constantly pulling them up because they stay in place. Compared to the $100 you’ll spend at a few other high-priced brands these are a STEAL at $32!
The last item I tried was the Old Navy activewear sports bras. I got one for low-intensity activities and another for medium-intensity workouts. This strappy back bra is perfect for hot yoga and this racerback style was good for running on the treadmill.
Of most of the brands I’ve worn, the prices and quality at Old Navy can’t be beat for this workout apparel!
