Earlier this month I wrapped another NYFW and it was the kickoff for Fall fashion in my wardrobe. I almost didn’t make it there with Hurricane Dorian looking poised to make landfall in South Florida as a category 5 storm! But, thankfully my good friend Kristen from The Glamorous Gal took me in for a few days. You might remember that I sat out all the NYFW festivities in February (read the post here). Honestly, I think it made me more excited to reconnect with my friends, brands I’ve formed relationships with and to be back in the city.
Thursday and Friday were packed with brand meetings at Julie Vos, Marc Fisher, Kendra Scott, Willow, and Eliza J to see the new collections. And, of course there were some fun events with Tula (full review of all their products I’m currently using coming shortly!), Shopbop, and dinner with the girls at Cecconi’s in Dumbo. I’m recapping a few of my outfits below and some of my favorite fall style trends you can expect to see on the streets soon.

NYFW Recap – Part 1: Fall Style Trends
The Best of Fall Fashion from NYFW
Luxe leathers. Bold and moody florals. And, the beginning of boot season. Fall is upon us! Aside from a little bit of rain on Friday, we were graced with amazing weather most of the time while we were in New York City for NYFW. This season I roomed with Lauren from Outfits & Outings and between the two of us, I think we hit all the best fall style trends you’ll see coming up.
Moody Florals for Fall
For Tula’s launch party for their new Rose Glow & Get It Balm, I wore this floral Misa dress with some neutral booties from Marc Fisher. You might think florals are for Spring, but they transition well to Fall, especially when they have a darker background like this fuchsia color. You can easily get some more wears out of your dresses when you add boots and a leather jacket.
Friday’s outfit was easily my favorite. While it’s certainly a splurge, this leather blouse by Rebecca Taylor stole my heart. Not only is the color STUNNING, but the tie neck detail is so on par for my style. True to form, I mixed high and low and paired it with these tailored pants by at Target. That’s right! These pants were only $25! Since I wanted to keep the look feminine, I threw on my go-to pumps by M.Gemi and piled on my Julie Vos bangles and earrings.
Girls Dinner at Cecconi’s Dumbo

Camille’s Outfit – Dress: Sea New York // Belt: B-Low the Belt // Boots: Anine Bing // Bag: YSL
Mary’s Outfit – Dress: Retrofete

One of the best parts of NYFW is catching up with the girls. Friday night a group of us popped over the bridge to Brooklyn to take some cute group shots in Dumbo before grabbing dinner at Cecconi’s. I actually met Megan and Collins two years ago at NYFW during a Baublebar event! For many of us, blogging is a 2nd job. So, it’s nice to chat business but to also catch up on each other’s lives not in a DM!
Snakeskin Print is a Must Have
For dinner I wore this affordable coral pleated dress from Zara with my new snakeskin print booties from Marc Fisher. After our showroom visit earlier in the day, I am so excited about their upcoming Fall and Spring collections.
Fashion week can be intimidating, but these ladies are just the sweetest! Also, I loved seeing how each of us put our own spin on Fall style too! Between the sequins, cowboy booties, and all the dark florals, it inspired me for the upcoming season.
