It’s everyone’s favorite time of year (after Christmas and Hanukkah)! The Nordstrom Half Yearly sale is here! There are a few hundred pages of chic clothing, accessories and shoes online that I’ve combed through to find the best of the best to make shopping it easy. For example, for those of you that are already thinking about your New Year’s resolutions to workout and be fit, I’ve included this Nike sports bra and comfy jogger pants. Also, there have been several questions on which grey jeans are my fave. These are it and they’re now on sale for less than $100! Additionally, this lace dress is so pretty. It comes in black and burgundy and would make the perfect little number for New Year’s Eve.

Top Picks from Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale
Yup. It’s that time again. I know what you’re thinking, “Wasn’t there just an awesome Nordstrom sale over the holidays?!” The answer is yes. This time of year is basically a gift from the fashion gods when we get the Black Friday specials, plus the Nordstrom Half Yearly sale. Just when you think you couldn’t possibly need anything else, they put more merchandise on sale than before and miraculously you add another 10 things to your cart, amiright?!)!
Stuff is (literally) flying off the shelves, so be ready to purchase if you see something you like. Yesterday I had found a cute puffer jacket and Free People dress I was going to include here and today they were sold out.
What you Should Buy at the Nordstrom Sale
So, let’s think practically. What do you need after all the holiday shopping and gift giving that’s been done? For starters, a new winter coat never hurts. This wrap style coat is a classic. I last wore it here, and it comes in a handful of different colors. An edgy leather jacket is also a great pick and this one by Blank NYC that many bloggers rave above is less than $60.
One of my great finds is this velvet off the shoulder top by Sanctuary which is only $42. I’d pair it with these white pants. The pants would also be a nice complement to this striped tie neck top from Free People which comes in a few different prints.
I’ve never seen a cashmere sweater for less than $100 and this red and tan striped style is on MAJOR sale for $42. Do not walk. RUN to get this piece and you’ll be so happy you did.
Of course, no Nordstrom sale would be complete without a black bootie or over the knee boot in it. I love the color on these tan boots by Dr. Scholls.
