The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2022 started this week (or as it’s also called, the Nsale), so I ran over to my local Nordstrom in Boca Raton to check out all the goods. People tend to either love or hate the sale and I happen to really like it. Sure, many of the same brands and items are in it each year. But, the colors are often updated and they’re best sellers for a reason. You’ll find pieces you can wear now (like this dress or this dress) and things for fall (like this blazer or this sweater). Even though I now work from home, I do prefer to dress up. There are lots of affordable items in the Nsale that you can use for work and transition for date nights. Today’s post includes my full Nordstrom Anniversary Sale dressing room try-on with sizing tips and reviews.
Dress: Good American // Blazer: L’Agence // Booties: AGL
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dressing Room Try-On 2022
There’s an endless amount of bloggers that cover the Nordstrom sale. But, I often pride myself on picking things that you don’t see a lot of other girls selecting! Style is personal. So, if you’re reading here or follow me on Instagram you likely identify with my feminine but classic style. Thank you! I hope you love my Nsale picks this year! I’ll have another post early next week as my 2nd part of my order arrives tomorrow.
L’Agence Kenzie Double Breasted Blazer
My first pick (and it’s a splurge!) is this L’Agence blazer. I often use the Nsale to get one new blazer and this year it’s this stunning olive green number. This will go great with a simple white tee, jeans and sneaks. Or, you can wear it to work or for date night how I have it styled here with a bodycon dress and booties in fall.
L’Agence runs small, so I sized up (would normally take an 8 and got the 10 for the bump). In the dress I am wearing the size 1/2 and it’s snug, but fits well! Then, the booties run TTS, but a tad narrow. I’m wearing a size 9.

Cardigan: Barefoot Dreams (bought this one last year) // Dress: Treasure & Bond (the white color is on major sale!)
Top Picks from the Nordstrom Sale
Barefoot Dreams Cardigan
There’s no denying how soft and cozy the Barefoot Dreams cardigans can be! I love how it looks paired with this ruched dress that comes in 8 colors. The cardi is marked down to $79 (from $116) and the dress is ONLY $35!
Size wise I’m wearing a medium in both items. I find the cardi to be TTS. But, I know other people say it runs big. I disagree! I’m also in a medium in the dress but would size up one size if you’re pregnant and pushing into the third trimester as it can get a bit short.
Dress: Veronica Beard // Shoes: Vince Camuto (from last year’s sale, also love this year’s version)
Veronica Beard Floral Print Dress
Last year there was a similar Veronica Beard dress in the sale and I passed it up. Not this year! I love how this dress is smocked on the bottom. It will look cute paired with heels or booties (love this pair and this less expensive option). This brand runs small to me. So, I sized up to an 8 and it fits perfectly (plus it’s super stretchy!). Throw a leather jacket over your shoulders in fall (I ordered this one from AllSaints in a size 10) and it will be such a cute look!
Hat: Treasure & Bond // Cashmere Poncho: Nordstrom Brand // Denim: Hatch (maternity – not in the NSale) // Boots: Dolce Vita (this pair is in the sale)
Nordstrom Signature V-Neck Wool and Cashmere Poncho
With the Nsale sometimes you just have to see things in person in the store and this cashmere poncho is one of those items. I would have never picked this out online. But, it’s such a cozy piece to wear in fall. It comes in a handful of colors and is UNDER $100! In terms of sizing, it’s one size fits most.
Hat: Treasure & Bond // Dress: Vince // Shoes: 42 Gold (also love these)
Vince Scoop Neck Tank Dress
Every year I look forward to seeing which Vince items will be in the sale. I’m trying to not buy a lot of maternity items and this dress is perfect for the bump. It’s made of a gently crinkled fabric and looks very chic! I already wore it out shopping with my mom yesterday. Vince always runs a little big to me. I took the medium for the bump but could probably do the small or the medium. My shoes are Schutz. But, this pair from the sale are identical. I love this style for summer and you can wear them now!
Top: Veronica Beard // Denim: Same as above // Shoes: 42 Gold
Veronica Beard Smocked Blouse
This is the same print as the dress I purchased above and it’s so good! I would have taken this smocked blouse home with me if it weren’t for the fact that my bump will be too big soon. This blouse looks amazing with jeans and sandals now and will pair perfectly with a leather jacket or longline cardi and over the knee boots in the fall. For size, I also grabbed this in the 8 and it was perfect (again, Veronica Beard runs small IMO).
Sweatshirt: Nike // Shorts: Nike
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Athleisure Picks
Nike Oversize Hoodie
Another item I nearly always purchase in the Nordstrom sale is a Nike sweatshirt. This year I actually purchased the one below from Zella instead! But, I love how soft and easy these sweatshirts are to wear with the running shorts, leggings or with joggers around the house. Personally, I think Nike sweatshirts run big. I normally get a small. But, I’m wearing a medium above and while it’s oversized, it fits fine!
Nike Dri-Fit Running Shorts
I’m normally a Lululemon gal when it comes to my workout shorts. But, these printed Nike shorts are so cute! At only $25, they’re a great purchase. I sized up one size to a large for the bump. They’ll be perfect for taking walks this summer when it’s super hot out!
Sweatshirt: Zella // Leggings: Zella
Zella Half Zip Crop Sweatshirt
The color on this half zip crop sweatshirt sold me! At just $40, it’s a great price and it’s such a fun piece you can wear now too. I’d wear this by itself with leggings or joggers or out to run errands after working out. This is beyond soft, so it’s a great lounge piece. I sized up to a large for the bump. Otherwise, I’d say it’s TTS and I’d take a medium.
Zella Restore Soft Pocket Leggings
If you asked me one thing I thought I wouldn’t be buying in the sale, it would be these leggings. I’ve never been a fan of Zella leggings. But, these are soooo soft and stretchy! I am wearing the pale pink in the picture, but ended up ordering the grey color (love my neutral style!). Originally I intended to try on the maternity leggings. Instead, I just sized up to a large in this style and they’re perfect.
Sweater 1: Nordstrom Signature Cashmere // Sweater 2: Veronica Beard
Nordstrom Sale Sweater Picks
Nordstrom Cashmere Crewneck Sweater
This gorgeous cashmere sweater would have come home with me if I didn’t already have several others on my wish list! I left it tucked out above in the picture so you can see the length. But, I’d wear it with the front slightly tucked IRL. This is the beige oatmeal light heather color, but it comes in 7 others. These sweaters are a deal at ONLY $89!
I’m wearing a large here and would say to size up if you want it oversized. But, I’d probably wear the medium otherwise.
Veronica Beard Pointelle Stitch Cotton Sweater
Last, but not least, is this pretty pointelle sweater by Veronica Beard. It’s another item I didn’t see online. But, in person it is incredible! It has a marled look to it and the detail on the sleeves is what makes it stand out. This is a splurge, but it’s something you can easily grab and throw on now with shorts! Or, in fall you can style it with dark denim and over the knee boots or booties for a casual work look or date night outfit. I’m wearing the size 8 and it was perfect!
That wraps it up for my Nordstrom Anniversary sale dressing room try-on! Once my second package arrives tomorrow I’ll do another round up of fall outfits and share the rest of my picks! If you’re shopping for something specific, be sure to let me know and I’ll share my favorite items in the Nsale.
