New York Fashion Week (#NYFW) was insane!! For my first season, it was such a learning experience. This floral maxi dress look was my NYFW outfit for day one, which included a visit with the GiGi New York team at their pop-up shop in the Meatpacking District. Of course, my leather clutch made for the perfect accessory! Although it was hot outside, I threw my tan suede jacket over my shoulders to complete the look.

Day 1 – New York Fashion Week
I only decided to make the trip for New York Fashion Week about two weeks ago, and it seriously couldn’t have happened without the help of my Style Collective sisters! Style Collective is a group of about 400 other bloggers and I learned that about 30 other girls were headed to the Big Apple for the events. After some thought, I figured now was as good a time as any to make the jump to see some shows and dive into this part of the blogging world.
One of the highlights of my first day was my trip to the Gigi New York pop-up shop to talk potential collaboration. I’m such a huge fan of the brand and already own a few of their Uber clutches, as well as this gorgeous tan leather bag from the With Love from Kat collection. Their team was A-MA-ZING! I’m so excited about what’s in store for the future in potentially working with them.
My floral maxi dress was a little daring with the open back, but I was so thankful it was so light because it hit the 90’s that day in the city! My dress is from Zara, but I found a few similar options here, here, and here. I honestly really didn’t need a jacket, but this suede number made the outfit come together! It’s the perfect piece for Fall and since its faux suede it’s super affordable!
