New York Fashion Week – Floral Maxi Dress and Leather Pants
One of the best things about New York Fashion Week are the freebies! With all my preparation and packing for my first NYFW season, I didn’t even think about giveaways. As I noted in my post here, Gigi New York gave away their darling Catie bags. They’re having their Friends & Family sale right now up for up to 30% OFF using code ‘WEAREFAMILY’ through October 11th. This gorgeous floral maxi dress was also a gift from Lulu’s at their Style Studio event on Friday night. I’m also including the details on my look from NYFW Day 4 featuring a pair of stunning cropped leather pants by Milly.

NYFW Day 3 – Floral Maxi Dress
With no fashion week events on Sunday, I made plans to visit a friend from high school on the Upper East Side. This floral maxi dress was perfect since the weather had cooled off a bit and it was a little windy out. Since I didn’t have time to have the dress tailored, it was a little on the long side. So, I paired it with my black booties. I can foresee a lot of wear in the near future for my ASKA Collection booties. They are my faaaaves! I’ve had them since last year. But, honestly – I probably need to get the bottoms re-soled soon. Seriously – I wear them THAT much!

NYFW Day 4 – Leather Pants
At the ShopStyle event on Saturday they were lending out clothing from a handful of retailers and a bunch of brands had items on loan. Although I’d brought entirely too many outfit options already, I grabbed these cropped leather pants by Milly to wear to the Christina Ruales collection launch event on Sunday night. From the second I put them on, I was scheming to find a way to NOT return them!
Living in South Florida, I have a hard time justifying real leather pants (faux leather leggings like these that are 50% OFF right now, sure!). But, if you live somewhere up North, the first thing I have to tell you is that they feel like butter. These pants are so chic it literally pained me to send them back when the week was over. I topped off the outfit with a big trend for Fall in these multi-strap heels.
