You guyssss… I am finally alive after almost two weeks of the most horrible sinus infection. If you guys follow me on Instagram, you know I’ve been working from home and (making a pitiful attempt at) resting. I’m finally back in the office and it is so good to be out of the house. I picked up this sweater and the cutest Athleta leggings a few weeks back and have been meaning to share them with you. Matt calls these my naked tights because he thinks they blend in with my skin. He’s not wrong – and I absolutely love them! You know I love my neutrals and it’s no different when I work out. My drawer is full of natural, white and blush leggings. This is my first pair from Athleta and I’m in love. More on the fit details below.

Rocking the Athleisure Trend in Athleta Leggings
If you ask my closest girlfriends if I typically wear athleisure looks out to run errands, the answer would be a hard no…. until now. Aside from some post-yoga activities, the reality is that I’d always felt more comfortable in shorts or denim and a comfy top to take care of the items on my checklist. Or, it was more likely that I’d be doing them after work in a business casual look paired with heels.
But, on the weekends most recently I’ve been living in my Athleta leggings. The pics above are no joke. I literally jumped for joy in my elation shimmer tights. Why, you ask? Well, I had my eye on these as soon as I saw them. The Athleta catalog showed up and in true form, I stalked these online immediately. Alas, they weren’t available. A few weeks later I happened to be at the mall and saw these at the front of the store. I tried them on and they were like second skin. Shockingly (and what woman doesn’t love this), I had to size down because they run a bit big. Ummm… can I please have every color you make? K, thanks.
Of course, I couldn’t leave the store without this sweater. Cashmere blend is my jam. It just is. This Lucca sweater is so soft and I’ve now worn it three or four times in the last two weeks. It’s a bit of a splurge at $148, but I’m sure it will be on some Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale.
