This year we’ve decided to keep things low key for New Year’s Eve. Instead of braving the crowds at a trendy restaurant or even going to a friend’s house, we’re just planning to stay in and spend some time with my family while watching some neighborhood fireworks. Even though we aren’t going out, I still want to feel a bit festive. I may not need full glitter, glam or sequins. But, this sheer blouse seems perfect for the occasion and will be my New Years Eve outfit.
I recently stumbled on the brand Amanda Uprichard and fell in love with their feminine styles. Honestly, every piece sort of feels like something I’d wear! I’ll throw on my favorite white denim and my nude Louboutin’s so I’m a bit fancy! But, reality is those heels won’t stay on long! I’ll probably be curled up on the couch with a glass of rosé and cozy socks.

My New Years Eve Outfit Inspo
Though it’s been a while since we’ve really gone out for New Year’s Eve, we do typically go out to our close friends house to watch the ball drop. But, this year my best friend is about to pop! She’s due with her baby girl in just two weeks which means they’re completely nesting. And, if I’m being honest I just need a little more down time before we go back to work.
Of course, I still want to dress up a little. It’s no surprise that I’ll be wearing a neutral and blush top for the night. This top literally stops people in their tracks. I think it’s the gathered sleeves that really draw you in. Since I’ve fallen in love with this brand, I’m also eyeing this blush top. This gold metallic blouse is the definition of New Year’s Eve! It’s essentially the same as the velvet top I wore for Christmas.
I’ll keep the rest of my outfit simple and then I’ll pile on all my Julie Vos bangles. If you’re headed out, be sure to drive safe and have a designated driver! Enjoy the rest of the holidays and be sure to check back in here. My next post will include my goals for 2019 – both personal and for the blog.
