What I love about H&M is that you can get a doppelganger of a much more expensive piece for significantly less and in quality materials. I first saw this Conscious Collection Jacquard bomber jacket on Louise Roe of FrontRoe.com. I had seen some similar options by Tularosa, but I wasn’t sure the trend would prove wearable for me for months to come.
Jacket: H&M Conscious Collection // Tank: BCBG Max Azria (similar style here and another option here) // Jeans: AG Jean Legging // Shoe: Isola // Bag: Chloe // Sunglasses: Target (also love these)
H&M JACQUARD BOMBER JACKET
I like to think that my closet is the perfect blend of luxury brand items and affordable fashion from places like H&M. I really have fun trying different trends to see how I can make them work for my style. For those items, I look to great stores like H&M, Zara, and Forever 21.
I had been looking at getting a textured jacket. So, I was eyeing the Tularosa Griffin jacket (no longer available) and their other great style – the Santa Fe fringe jacket. But, I just couldn’t bring myself to spend $300 on a jacket when we’re heading into the Summer months in humid, hot South Florida. So, when I saw Louise Roe in this embroidered jacquard jacket on Instagram and knew that I had to try it out.
When I shop at H&M, I frequently buy two sizes so I can get the best fit. Also, since I’ve signed up for H&M emails, I’m constantly getting coupon codes for free shipping or a certain percentage off my purchase. I never buy full price and in this piece, I sized up.
I wanted to keep the jacket the centerpiece of this outfit, so I paired it with a soft tank and black skinnies. The powder pink color in the topper matches nicely with my Chloe Marcie bag in blush nude. I finished the look with my favorite Isola sandals and these Target sunglasses that I swear are Karen Walker lookalikes.
