During his speech at our wedding, my dad said, “Amanda – daddy’s girl…” He smiled as he trailed off and then said, “But, she’s really not. She’s mommy’s girl!” I’ve always had this incredible relationship with my mom. She’s my best friend! Now that we live right around the corner, it’s even more true. We’ve always made it a point to do mother-daughter days and pamper ourselves. This year we’re celebrating Mother’s Day early with an at-home spa day with Pond’s from Walmart! My mom taught me that good skincare is so important, so we’re focusing on products that help reduce fine lines and correct dark spots.

To prep for our Mother Daughter day, I took a quick trip over to my local Walmart. They have amazing prices and the shelves are always well-stocked! I chose Pond’s products because they’re a brand I trust and they’re affordable. I grabbed the Rejuveness Anti-Wrinkle Cream because no matter what age you are, wrinkle prevention is important!
I’ve been blessed with olive skin that ages well from my dad’s side of the family and knowledge to protect my skin from my mom’s side (they all have fair skin). So, I also purchased the Clarant B3 Dark Spot Corrector. It comes in a Normal to Dry formula, as well as a Normal to Oily. My mom says that as your skin gets older, it tends to get drier. So, it worked out great and I got both formulas so we’d each have one designed for us.
Getting Radiant Skin with Ponds
The anti-wrinkle cream is packed with a few ingredients that I love, including Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA), collagen and vitamin E. Then, the dark spot correcting cream has vitamin B. Both are dermatologist tested, hypoallergenic, and are good for daily use. Plus, you can put your makeup right over the dark spot cream too!
