A few weeks ago we were in Napa Valley doing some wedding planning (which I’ll talk about soon in an upcoming post). The weather was uncharacteristically wet for Northern California. It rained every day we were there! To brave the cold rain, I wore this super soft grey cashmere sweater and my favorite grey skinny jeans (similar here) when we visited Inglenook Vineyard as a possible location for our guests wine tour.
Shop the Look
Sweater: Joie (similar here, here, and here) // Denim: Citizens of Humanity (old, same style in a slightly darker grey here) // Coat: Zara (old, similar here) // Bag: Forever 21 (similar here and luxury version here) // Necklace: Susan Shaw (similar here)
There is something so calming about the color grey, and my closet has filled up with various shades of it these last few seasons. This grey cashmere sweater was one of those end of the season finds I came across at Saks Fifth Avenue in Boca Raton recently. I was actually returning something else and the sale rack caught my eye (anyone else ever have that happen!?). This sweater is slightly oversized, which I love, and so comfortable. With the sale price, I didn’t want to pass it up. I always joke about that phrase, “Nothing haunts you like the things you didn’t buy.” This would have been one of those things. I rounded up a few additional grey cashmere sweaters that are so cute. I really love this one, this one, and this one. Cashmere can get expensive, but the sweaters I picked are in a broad price range.
I paired my sweater with these skinny jeans (last seen here and here). This color is no longer available in most sizes, but the same style in a slightly darker color are available ON SALE at Anthropologie now.
We crammed a lot of activity into this weekend, but visiting Inglenook was a priority. If you haven’t been before, add it to your list for the next trip you take to Napa Valley. The vineyard has a rich history that involves Francis Ford Coppola and of course, delicious wine. They’re also one of few wineries that have lots of options for groups.
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend planned! I’m trying to become more active on Pinterest, so I’m going to spend some time curating great pins for you! I’ve already created a ton of great wedding inspiration boards. So, be sure to follow me @amanda_mercado!
