The one-piece swimsuit has made a major comeback! While I love a great bikini, there’s something about a one-piece that makes me more comfortable. I wore this retro-inspired gingham suit for our quick trip to Daytona Beach this past weekend.GINGHAM ONE-PIECE IN DAYTONA BEACH
Swimsuit: Loft // Cover-up: JCrew ON SALE! (printed version here also ON SALE and loving this caftan) // Sandals: Vince Camuto (similar here) // Sunglasses: Karen Walker // Earrings: Kendra Scott (also love these) // Hat: Target // Nail Polish: Essie (color is Boom Boom Room)
What I love most about this one-piece swimsuit (and failed to capture here for you) is that you can wear it two ways: tied around the neck like you see here or strapless by tying the straps in the back. Gingham is really popular right now. Also, when I saw this suit I knew it would be perfect for our short weekend getaway to Daytona Beach.
I love the one-piece trend, so I also picked up this adorable black and white striped bow suit that has a removable strap. When it comes to prints, I love this flamingo version and this brightly colored Mara Hoffman piece. If you’re looking to get just one and want to be a little sexy, you could try this one here.
I got this Henley tank cover-up a month or two back, but it’s still available in multiple colors and in a pretty print too. It runs a little big, but I stuck with my normal size.
To complete the look, I wore my favorite oversized sunnies and my leopard print gladiator sandals. These sandals were only sold in stores, but I found their twin in this pair here.
What’s your go-to beach look these days? Are you digging one-piece suits as much as I am?!
