We’re headed to see Matt’s family in Illinois this weekend and I’m looking forward to relaxing and taking in some fireworks! I’ll wear it with my denim jacket in the evening and my new comfy white Soludos espadrille sneakers. This look will be perfect for the the town parade on Saturday or the BBQ on Sunday at the house.

Fourth of July Outfit Inspiration: Striped Dress
I first saw this striped dress on Julia Engel of Gal Meets Glam and knew it would be great for this trip. Then, I saw that it was Old Navy and I liked it even more! Old Navy is one of my favorite stores for affordable fashion (recent looks here and here). The fabric is super soft and stretchy so it will be comfortable for the full day of lounging, eating yummy cookies that Matt’s mom is making, and enjoying the beautiful weather that’s forecasted for the weekend.
I’ve rounded up a handful of other cute, striped dresses from other brands which supply some major inspo for your red, white and blue looks this weekend. This T by Alexander Wang tank dress is adorable, and I love this maxi dress from JCrew. Another budget-friendly option is this boatneck dress from Gap!
