Dress: Zara (similar here and love this, this, and this) // Sandals: Mossimo at Target // Bag: Miu Miu // Hat: Club Monaco (similar here) // Earrings: Kendra Scott // Sunnies: Bobbi Brown
If there’s one designer who is the reigning champion of floral print, it’s Dolce & Gabbana. Their looks are stunning, bold and opulent. But, while my heart loves their clothes, my wallet does not! So, I turn to affordable brands like Zara and ASOS for great style at a price that makes more sense for me.
Dipping your toe in the floral print waters
For those like me who aren’t ready to go crazy with floral print everywhere on your hangars, try this maxi dress by up and coming brand, Auguste. Or, take a look at this pretty off the shoulder number that’s available in two colors and under $80! It actually sold out before, but has been restocked.
For the bold and more daring
Part of me wants to try the more daring trend of sheer floral lace, like this dress from ASOS (eek!). It is absolutely not for everyone (and definitely NOT for the office, no matter where you work). But, the bodysuit underneath is so sexy! I’m pretty sure Matt would have a heart attack if I wore that on our upcoming honeymoon, but I may just find a way to work it into my outfit lineup.
I wore my Target gladiator pumps with my floral print dress and seriously – you need these in your closet. They get two thumbs up and a five star rating for not even needing to be broken in! Recently, I’ve been wearing a ton of hats and if you buy one in a neutral color like this, it goes with everything.
I hope you all had a wonderful start to your week!
