Festival season marks the time of year when the best bohemian looks of lace, crochet, and floral details are on full display. This year it’s all about white and camel colors.
Jacket: Levi (thrifted, similar here) // Top: Bailey 44 // Skirt: H&M (size up, other options here, here, and here) // Boots: Sam Edelman (similar here) // Sunglasses: Bobbi Brown (similar here and here) // Bracelets: JCrew (old, similar here, here and here)
The boho look is effortless and light. Traditionally, the tops are loose fitting in either a swing or trapeze style. But, those always make me look so much bigger than I am! It can be so frustrating. Since I prefer a more tailored fit, I stuck with what works for me and slightly modified the trend.
At the major music concerts like Coachella, you’ll see a plethora of crop tops. I’ve yet to venture into that look, so I went with an off-the-shoulder detail instead. I love this adorable crochet, tiered top. The white eyelet and crochet gives it that festival feel.
Suede skirts are all over the racks at department stores like Neiman Marcus. But, they’re an investment. Even the cheaper ones can be $100-150. I recommend you size up since suede doesn’t have as much give in the material.
I chose to contrast the camel color in the skirt with my black, suede OTK boots. But, this look could have very easily worked with a strappy sandal or this season’s favorite – the gladiator.
