The wrap dress is an iconic style forever synonymous with Diane Von Furstenberg. Truth be told, this pretty yellow DVF wrap dress holds a special place in my heart for more than the fact that it hugs and drapes in all the right places. I was wearing this dress when I first met Matt two years ago. This dress not only kick-started my love for DVF, but it also led me to my future husband! That’s quite a powerful piece of clothing. All jokes aside, a DVF wrap dress makes women confident with it’s secret weapon… subtle sex appeal.

Vintage DVF Wrap Dress
Perhaps one of the best characteristics about a DVF wrap dress is the sheer amount of prints. Also, it has options that are available. My current favorite is this blue and white polka dot number, followed by this garden daisy fabric. Nearly all of the wrap dresses are made from a silk jersey material that’s soft and forgiving.
You can style a DVF dress up or down and on the day I took these shots, I was clearly in the mood for gold statement pieces! I grabbed my new Vince Camuto wedges (that are an accessory on their own!) and paired them with a classic gold link bracelet and necklace. Although I carry a convertible tote to work every day, I like to bring an extra bag in the car for when I run errands after work. This leather clutch by Kat Tanita from her With Love by Kat x GiGi New York collection is big enough for your wallet, phone, lipstick, and other goodies. Plus, it has a handle on the bottom so it doesn’t slip out of your hand. It’s genius!
Do you have a favorite DVF wrap dress? Is it the classic chain link or something in animal print?!
