It’s crazy to think the last days of Summer are upon us. But, that also means it’s one of the best times to score some amazing deals on cute beach coverups. I’m rounding up all my favorite fun and neutral pieces in this post. Scroll down to see them all!
You’ve got a cute suit. Your bag’s packed with sunscreen! But, you aren’t sure what to wear on top. I’ve got you covered (literally!). Cute beach cover ups comes in all forms. But, it’s sort of funny… nearly all of mine are dresses! I guess that’s what I’m most comfortable in. So, remember – comfort is key. Ideally, you should be able to run after your kiddos or transition to lunch or dinner in whatever cover up you choose. Brands like Pitusa and L’Space make some my favorite swimsuit cover ups every season. I got this one last year and it’s still a best seller! Of course, a chic sarong like this one always makes a statement and is easy to throw on. The leopard print will go with so many suits too.

My Go-to Cover Up Dresses
Like I said above, most times you’ll find me in a cover up dress whether I’m at the pool or the beach. I’m a girly girl. So, I wear a lot of dresses! I own a handful from Pitusa, which is a local brand made in Miami. They’re made from Peruvian and Indian cotton, so they are suuuuper comfy. You’ll notice that many of their designs come in bright fluorescent colors. Somehow I always manage to find ones that I love that are the perfect pink or white with pink details, like the two I’m wearing below.
Cute Beach Cover Ups I Own and Wear
Living in Florida, I own my fair share of cute beach cover ups (and bathing suits!). But, I find myself reaching for the same ones time and time again. My two favorites are this rose gold metallic dress and this easy white dress with side slits (both featured in the pics below). The Lovers + Friends dress is a bit more glam. So, it’s perfect for when you have plans before or after the pool or beach. There is also a similar metallic skirt if you prefer. Most of the options from L’Space are a bit more casual. Most recently I purchase this sheer kimono style cover up that’s only $22 that I absolutely love! Normally, I’m throwing on my cover up when I run inside to grab a meal or go shopping after the beach. So, I like to wear a midi or maxi dress to be comfortable and not get cold.
Other Affordable Beach Cover Up Options
Since most of the styles I own personally are between $100-150, I rounded up a few others I think you all will love. For example, I found a few very cute options on Amazon that are around $25! Firstly, I love this white shirtdress. It comes in 25 different colors and a bunch of prints (hello leopard!) if you prefer that. Since it has long sleeves, it will be perfect when you’ve gotten enough sun for the day and need more coverage. It’s a clean look and paired with a hat and sandals will be very chic. Then, I also adore this sleeveless black dress with fringe that’s only $22! The hemline is a bit longer, so it’s more moderate in terms of coverage. Don’t forget to grab a pair of flip flops too! Amazon has an amazing selection.
Another online retail shop with a variety of cover ups is Everything but Water. This crochet tunic is under $70 and will be perfect for any upcoming trips you have planned. Of course, travel is a bit different during COVID. But, hopefully we get past that in 2021 and everyone up North can get their winter beach vacations scheduled!
