One of my most asked about outfits during our trip to Jackson Hole was this one with my reversible faux shearling jacket by Bernardo. And, I totally get it! It’s suuuper cute and looks amazing worn on both sides. Lately I’ve been drawn to Bernardo (I first talked about them in this post) because they have a huge range of coats and jackets from puffers to rainwear to wool. This one is no different! The one side has white faux shearling that looks incredibly luxe. Then, the other side is a stunning dark jade colored nylon material that looks fab with any denim. Who doesn’t love a jacket where you get twice the value!?

Reversible Faux Shearling Jacket
Shearling is Having a Moment
Sherpa. Shearling. Whatever you call it – it’s having a moment this season! The real deal will cost you a pretty penny (and is somewhat controversial). If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you know I’m making a point to be more ethical and sustainable with my fashion choices. Faux is the way to go!
Also, faux shearling coats lend themselves to being functional (so cozy!) and affordable. This jacket by Bernardo on crazy sale right now for $82! SUCH A STEAL!
Styling your Faux Shearling Jacket
The teddy coat look is a winter style staple that you simply need in your closet. While I styled this look with my fav pair of denim (now sold out, but these are similar), I’d love to try a monochrome look with white jeans and a classic white top as well. I absolutely love the jacket with a soft scarf too. You could also layer the look with a tunic sweater and leggings to keep the whole look chic!
