I don’t know about you guys, but I can’t get myself enough burgundy clothing and accessories right now! Call it what you will – bordeaux, wine, port, or fig. That deep red color is my FAVE right now! I’ve rounded up some of the best burgundy sweaters (like this one and this one), as well as gorgeous burgundy over-the-knee boots, booties, pumps, and bags in the “IT” color of the season.

Bordeaux, Burgundy or Wine – I’ll Take Them All
Okay, girl crush confession… my color obsession with burgundy started a few weeks ago at NYFW. Kathleen from the fabulous Carrie Bradshaw Lied blog was wearing a bordeaux velvet top from Cami NYC. By the time I went to snap it up, it was sold out (womp womp!!). Luckily for me, I just saw this new lace-trimmed cami come out and I added it to my cart stat! But, the description said it is slightly oversized. I’m also dying over this lace-trimmed slipdress in this gorgeous wine color.
I’m really into bohemian, billowy blouses right now. So, this top by Free People (under $100!) is on it’s way to me too. I can totally see this top with faux leather leggings and over the knee boots or black strappy heels for date night. The Velvet Trend
Next, I decided that I needed a pair of burgundy booties and these velvet sock style booties by Steve Madden are perfect (and under $90!). Since South Florida won’t see cooler weather for another month or two, these booties will be great with dresses and skirts. I might also grab a pair of heels like these or these and, of course, these over the knee boots are on the wish list.
The velvet trend is HUGE right now (and I’m onboard)! These AG legging jeans are definitely a splurge, but I promise you’ll get A TON of wear in them. I have the blue color from last season and they are very flattering. So, I might scoop these up during the last few days of the Bloomingdales sale (don’t forget to use code ‘FRIENDS’ to get 25% OFF).
