How did we get here!? There are only 4 days until Christmas and I’m so flipping excited! All my shopping is done, the gifts are wrapped, and the house is (somewhat) clean. We’ll spend a bit of time over the holidays in Chicago with Matt’s family and I got to thinking today about what I’ll pack for our trip. I’ve come to appreciate a quality button down and Rails is a brand that’s polished and chic while comfortable and casual. I bought this red buffalo plaid shirt last year after Christmas and this year’s version is even better and less than $100 right now! I also found an oversized boyfriend shirt in the red and black print here (under $70, plus 25% OFF with code LATEBIRD). With my new Club Monaco Daylina coat, the look was business casual and office appropriate.

A Glam Favorite – Rails Buffalo Plaid Shirt
With all the hubbub of the holidays, one of the other items on our to-do list is to decide what to wear for Christmas. I’ve gotten dressed to the nines plenty of times, but this year I’m planning to keep it casual with my buffalo plaid shirt by Rails with my black legging jeans. Since we’ll be at my parents for Christmas day and we’ll stay until the wee hours of the night, this AG denim is my best bet. I actually found these at my local TJ Maxx about three years ago and bought both pairs. They’ve been a staple in my wardrobe ever since.
I love grey coats (like the wrap style I wore here which is on sale now and comes in five colors) and this double-breasted style is stunning. I’ve become majorly obsessed and a complete Club Monaco fan these last few months now that they re-opened in Boca. They’re having a HUGE sale right now so be sure to scoop up classic pieces that are up to 65% OFF! What I love most about this coat is the length – it’s the definition of class and will be what I wear for any travel this Winter season.
