The Cool Girls Brand for the Everygirl!
The Vetiver Collection
My connection to Vetiver started like most do these days – with some subtle stalking of their Instagram feed. I just couldn’t help myself when it came to that little “like” button! Cotton maxi dress? Like. Flirty ruffled mini? Like! The full line at the Vetiver Collection is just so refreshing. When it comes to buying clothes and styling outfits, you hear me say repeatedly to focus on classic pieces that help you build a versatile wardrobe. That’s exactly what Vetiver preaches. The mantra is central to their brand identity – and it shows. I liked my leopard maxi dress so much, I styled it two ways to show you how quickly it will become your favorite for Spring and Summer.
First Look – Dress: Vetiver Collection c/o // Belt: Gucci // Jacket: Maje (similar here) // Boots: M.Gemi (old, similar here) // Bag: Chanel (similar here)
Second Look – Dress: Same as above // Bag: Etsy // Sandal: purchased in Greece (identical here)
Timeless fashion you’ll wear over and over again.
For the record, I’ve never been the cool girl. The nerdy girl, sure. The awkward one, sometimes. So, I’ve always admired how some girls can dress themselves in a way that exudes coolness with minimal effort as if it’s second nature. But, that’s what Vetiver does so well – they elevate your look with simple silhouettes (often in neutral colors that I’m obsessed with) and attention to the fine details. They make getting dressed easy.
Seasonless style you’ll wear year-round.
See, when it comes to cotton maxi dresses like the one I’m wearing in this post, Vetiver really know what they’re doing. The material is lightweight and drapes just right. You can wear it as-is or cinch it in at the waist with a fun belt like the gold Gucci Marmont I’m wearing. It comes in several solid colors and prints (of course I grabbed the leopard but it’s also available in black right now) and is basically what I’ll be living in while I’m sitting poolside out on our new patio.
At the same time, all of their pieces are very easy to dress up and transition between seasons. Take the day I first wore this dress, for example. Sandwiched between beautiful days of 70+ degree weather came a bout of low 50’s temps. So, I threw on my dress with tall black boots, Gucci belt and leather jacket and I was an instant cool girl. Now that it’s warm out again, I can wear it by itself with a cute pair of sandals and my go-to basket bag.
