Now that Everett is a year old, I’m having such a fun time picking out his Christmas gifts and figuring out holiday gift ideas for friends and family. Since I’m doing all this research on the best options for wooden activity cubes and all things Fisher-Price and LeapFrog, I figured I’d put it to use for you all too. With his birthday just a month ago, we received a handful of very cool baby toys. So, I also have real-time feedback on what he enjoys playing with that your kiddos or friends babies may love too. Keep reading for my list of best holiday gifts for babies and toddlers.

Best Holiday Gifts for Babies
There’s an abundance of gifts that can help your toddler grow. Since our family prefers to give physical gifts, each suggestion here is exactly that. But, I also love the idea of giving a contribution to a babies future college fund or to their piggy bank (we have this one). My baby gift recommendations range from $15 to $99, so there’s a price point for everyone.
Cadson Dyson Vacuum Toy
If your baby is like Everett, he loves to pretend to help clean. He’s taken a liking to our vacuum in particular, so we asked for this Dyson look-alike which I know he’ll love. Note – it does say it’s for 3+ years old. Everett’s a strong boy, so I don’t think the size will be a problem. And, he will most likely just mimic me as I clean. Start them young!
Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Mix & Learn DJ Table
I first stumbled on this when looking for gift ideas for Everett’s first birthday. Candidly, I had my doubts. But, he plays with this almost daily. Spoiler alert – mamas and dadas will love it too and you’ll memorize all the fun songs as your new playlist.
The White Company Hydrocotton Hooded Baby Towel
A practical gift, this adorable hooded towel comes in two sizes (we requested the large). There are lots of other options out there, but many are more like robes. This will replace the one we have that’s now too small.
Fisher-Price Little People Big Yellow Bus
Matt had this school bus toy as a kid and his sisters suggested it for E. He loves his Little People fire truck he received for his birthday. So, I’m sure this will be a hit.
LeapFrog Touch and Learn Wooden Activity Cube
These are great for learning and development with the different games that baby can play. Since Everett has one at daycare, we thought he might like one at home too.
V-Tech Go! Go! Race Cars
These will be our first little car toys (we have these from Melissa & Doug going in his stocking too). They make noise and are the perfect size for babies and toddlers.
Baby Shark Sing-a-long books
Another birthday gift that Everett received, this book is a HUGE hit in our house. When I realized there were another few available (here and here), they quickly made our holiday gift guide for babies and toddlers.
Zipper footies
You can’t go wrong with anything from Magnetic Me or Angel Dear (read my full review here). For a friend with a new baby or if they live in a cold place, go with the footies. If your friend or family has a baby that’s starting to walk, I recommend the rompers!
Pop up toy
Another daycare favorite, one of E’s teacher’s remarked how much he loves playing with this at school. There are so many options, but this one has music that plays too.
Gather tunnel
It’s almost a prerequisite for babies to love tunnels! There are more affordable versions on Amazon, but this one is made from PU leather, is free of toxins and also comes in a variety of neutral colors that won’t make your living room an explosion of color.
