When should you start using an eye cream? The truth is, it should be earlier than whatever age you might guess. But, the good news is it’s never too late to take care of your skin. I’m always so thankful for my angel of a mother telling me to take care of my skin in my early 20’s. Since the skin around your eye is 10x thinner than the rest of your face, wearing eye cream is hugely preventative. Remember all those late nights out on the town? Those sleepless nights when you forgot to take off your makeup? Well, they certainly don’t help you address the signs of aging. But, there are a handful of eye creams that I absolutely love and I’m spilling the tea on all of them in today’s post. These are the best eye creams for women in their 30’s.
Best Eye Creams For Women in Their 30’s
It probably sounds early to you, but by your late 20’s your skin cells around your eye area start breaking down, collagen production declines, and the aging process begins. Sure… at that time you’re likely looking and feeling your best! But, using an eye cream can be preventative, keeping those fine lines and wrinkles at bay. Personally, I think it’s this area of your face that really tells your age. People always think I’m younger than I am because my eyes look so good! After testing 7 different eye serums and creams for the last year, I can finally tell you which are the best for women in their 30’s. I’ve narrowed down my favorites, including this one at the top of the list.

My Favorite Eye Serums and Creams
Over the past few years I’ve found a few eye creams I LOVE. But, during all the time at home the past 12 months I put those to the test, trying another 5 that were completely new to me. Each of these are considered luxury beauty products. So, the price point is a bit higher. If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, check out this post that features a multi-peptide eye cream I always use to the very last drop.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue
Tried and true! This Magic Eye Rescue is the best of the best when it comes to anti aging eye creams. Of all the products included here, I’ve used this one the longest. A longtime lover of Charlotte Tilbury, I started using this every night before my wedding nearly five years ago. It’s super hydrating and brightens the appearance of dark circles. But, for me the two best parts are how soft my eye area feels when I wake up and how it reduces the appearance of fine lines. The price is a bit steep, but this little jar will last you months. It’s WELL worth it!

Caudalie Resveratrol Lift Firming Eye Gel Cream
Coming in at $39, this gel-based eye cream is my favorite in the morning. If I’ve had a bunch of dairy or maybe a few glasses of wine, this helps to de-puff and firm up my eyes. In fact, 83% of women in a clinical study saw reduced puffiness. So, it isn’t just me!
I regularly include Caudalíe in my beauty posts because of their commitment to green products and their superb ingredients. This gel eye cream also has hyaluronic acid in it (my fav), as well as a vegan collagen alternative.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Eye Renewal
Okay, so this is the priciest of all the eye creams I’m reviewing in this post. But, WOW is it good! I’ve raved about the Pro Collagen line from Elemis before (see this post) and that isn’t changing now. If you can imagine, it was a single trial packet of this anti-aging eye cream that got me hooked. It came with a bunch of other samples I got from a retailer. After three uses, I knew I’d purchase the full size.
What I love about this product is how lightweight the formula is and how it just literally melts into my skin. It feels velvety to the touch when you pat it into your skin. Plus, isn’t greasy at all and with just a half a pump I’m set to cover both of my eyes.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Eye Revive Mask
I know what you’re thinking… didn’t she just review this above? Nope! This is similar, but it’s actually a multi-use eye mask. Personally I use it as mask the most. But, it’s also a hydrating primer you can put on before your makeup. Or, you can use it as a moisturizing balm throughout the day over your makeup too.
Somehow, this magical formula of hyaluronic acid, watermelon snow algae and antioxidant-rich bush clover works tiny miracles that reduce signs of aging around the eye area.

Joanna Vargas Revitalizing Eye Cream
Another skincare brand fav, Joanna Vargas makes highly concentrated, sustainable skincare products that I love. The tiniest amount of this eye cream will go a long way. And, of all the eye creams I’m reviewing here – this one brightened the most! It’s packed with peptides and antioxidants, plus things like sweet potato and shea and cocoa butter.
The texture of this revitalizing eye cream is thicker than all the others in this post and very creamy. It works for all skin types. While the packaging is chic, I do wish it came in a different container! That way, I know I’ve used up every last drop.

Korres Black Pine 3D Eye-Lift Super Serum
The Korres brand is newer to me, but I really like this super serum. You actually pump the end of the tall cylinder to dispense the formula to your finger or skin. It’s incredibly lightweight – the thinnest I’ve used. In reading some of the 150 reviews that give it 4 stars, it seems to really help with droopy eyelids. I don’t have that problem, but I guess that’s where the ‘Eye-lift’ in the name comes from!
Of the 7 eye creams I tried, this is the only one that claims to help with sagging. So, if that’s your problem area, this is the one I’d suggest. Of course, it also targets dark circles and puffiness like the others too.

Beautycounter Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream
With all the hype around Beautycounter as a clean beauty brand, I decided to order a handful of new products around the holidays when their gift sets came out. This eye rescue cream was a last minute addition to my cart.
The texture is creamy and thick, but it goes on smooth and silky. Even after immediate use, I love the way my undereye looks. It has squalane, phytic acid and shea butter to increase moisture and elasticity to the sensitive skin around the eyes. And, the price point is pretty good!

As a woman in my 30’s, my skincare is important to me. Looking natural and aging gracefully is always my goal. While my preference skews towards the anti aging eye creams, keep your personal skin goals in mind. Any of the eye creams in this post will help you fight fine lines and wrinkles. Are you looking to brighten? Lift? Reduce puffiness? Determine that and then purchase the one that fits your needs. I’ve already put these to the test, so you won’t have to!
