If you’ve followed me the past month or two on Instagram, you know I’ve been trying a series of products from a new-to-me Australian beauty line called Esmi Skin Minerals. There are a handful of items I’ve been loving. So, I’ll break down each of those below. But, first – a bit on the brand overall. They’ve vegan and mineral based (like the name implies). They’re also cruelty free, which is super important. And, they still contain all the good stuff like antioxidants and vitamins. The line includes serums, face masks, foundation, sunscreen and more. Which one is my fav? Keep reading below.
Esmi Skin Minerals Review
The Clean Beauty Trend
I’ve been watching from the sidelines as clean beauty and skincare becomes a massive trend over the last year. But, it’s more than just a passing fad. Just like healthy eating or working out, it’s a lifestyle. While I can’t say I’m completely clean when it comes to my beauty routine, I’m making a conscious choice to pick products with fewer ingredients and less harmful ingredients. That’s another reason I love Esmi Skin Minerals.
Below are my three fav products I’m using regularly:
Hyaluronic Hydrating Serum
My go-to serum lately! It’s no secret that aestheticians use hyaluronic acid on your skin after treatments like microneedling (and during treatment as well!) for a reason. It soothes your skin and acts like a glass of water for your face! I use this a few times a week to stay hydrated. And, it keeps my fine lines and wrinkles at bay.
Acai Skin Balancing Face Oil
Another amazing product! I have combination/oily skin and this helps to cut my shine by improving my skin tone. It has jojaba, vitamin A, kiwi fruit seed oil and other awesome superfood ingredients that are great for acne-prone skin (aka ME!).
Liquid Mineral Foundation
This foundation is super lightweight and I use shade II-III. I could probably bump to the next shade in the Summer. But, the one I have is perfect for Winter and Spring. The description for this product says maximum coverage and I agree that it gives great coverage for any blemishes. But, I don’t find it to be heavy at all. You could probably build it up if needed, but I like to just put one coat on while running errands.
Also, I almost forgot! For all my mama readers out there – the Esmi products are safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding! Whoop! So, it’s safe to say I’m a big fan. It can be uncomfortable investing in and trying new products. But, I really liked or loved each item I tried. At this point, I know my skin type, so I’m able to hone in on items I think will work well for me. If you give them a try, please let me know!
