It’s no secret I’m Charlotte Tilbury obsessed. Whether I’m going full on glam or for that no makeup look, her products never disappoint. But, when the season changes, so does your skin. And, so can your go-to look. I’ll share my Charlotte Tilbury skincare favorites in another upcoming post. For today I’ll stick to the best makeup for fall.
Although I now know my way around a makeup palette and feel like I do a decent job of applying it, that wasn’t always the case. But, when I discovered Charlotte Tilbury a few years back, it suddenly became so easy. There’s something about the way her products blend and make your skin glow. Just a few changes can freshen up your look for Fall. My Charlotte Tilbury Favorites for Fall
Call it a primer. Call it a highlighter. Truth is – it’s both, and it is a MAJOR booster for your complexion. My first recommendation for Fall if you’re not already using it, is Hollywood Flawless Filter. This one little product goes on under your foundation (if you even want to use foundation after this) and gives you the most perfect dewy glow. There have been countless days over the past six months where this is all I put on my face. It’s THAT good.
My other Fall makeup must have? A fabulous mascara. You’ve heard me rave before about Legendary Lashes. While I wish I could get lash extensions all the time, an affordable alternative is this volumizing mascara. This also has an intense, hyperpigmented color. So, it really makes your eyes pop. I love this year-round. But, it’s especially perfect for Fall when you’re all layered up and want your makeup to stand out.
Last, but not least, are the lipsticks that will give you a perfect Fall pout. Charlotte has crafted the very best shades that make your lips look fuller. My two favorites, Pillow Talk (a nude pink) and Very Victoria (a taupe pink), are both included in this mini trio. Plus, the new Walk of No Shame shade (a berry pink) rounds out the three lipsticks you need for Fall.
Charlotte Tilbury Face Makeup I’m Loving for the Fall Season
During quarantine I fully embraced my makeup-free routine. But, with Fall knocking on the door, I’m ready to kiss summer goodbye. However, my cheeks aren’t! To maintain that sunkissed glow, I recently purchased the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer. I’m using shade Medium and in full disclosure, I may go darker to Tan when I restock. But, this is another way to make your skin look flawless. The formula blurs your pores and smooths your lines. Also, it’s infused with hyaluronic acid and is super fine, but still delivers the coverage you want. Lastly, this doesn’t have any unwanted orange tint to it. The color is very natural (a la all Charlotte products).
Then, there’s the Pillow Talk blush. This face flattering shade works on everyone and gives you the perfect rosy glow. I alternate between this one and First Love, which apparently Kylie Jenner loves too. These are pigmented enough to stay all day and always have a glow shade (dare I call it highlighter?) in the middle to give you a better blend.
The Best Charlotte Tilbury Eye Makeup for Fall
With the pandemic going on and our faces mostly covered up, you’ll want to focus your makeup on your eyes for Fall. After all, that’s what people will see the most! The Bella Sofia eyeshadow palette is literally autumn in 4 colors. With a light champagne color, plus a cocoa shade, a bronze and a berry, you’ve got the makings of the perfect fall smoky eye. Want something for everyday? Just use champagne on the lid and the cocoa in the crease. When you transition to night, you can easily layer in the bronze and berry for a sexier look.
If these colors aren’t your preference, my go-to are the Exxager-Eyes and Pillow talk palettes. I also have my eye on this Nude Matte Shadow palette. Then, if you do have lash extensions, you can probably get away with just a single cream shadow like this one.
