A few months back, I started noticing these adorable, soft plaid shirts (found on Kourtney Kardashian frequently) while I was picking up this sweet Bella Dahl dress at Bloomingdales. Since then, I’ve been dying to scoop one up and finally settled on this Rails plaid shirt (exclusive to Intermix) in pink and navy.
Shirt: Rails for Intermix (also love this short sleeve blue and white plaid version) // Shorts: Banana Republic // Shoes: M Gemi // Clutch: Gigi New York // Necklace: Jennifer Zeuner
RAILS PLAID SHIRT
I’ve been struggling with finding time to blog lately with a busy work and personal travel schedule over the Summer. So, when I actually do have time to snap some shots of the latest “what I wore” series, I end up featuring a few new pieces versus focusing on just one element.
In this post, I’m featuring my new Rails plaid shirt, exclusive to Intermix. I find that I’m shopping more and more at Intermix. I love that its a collection of specifically curated pieces by designers I love. Aside from the shirt I got, I’m also loving this blue and white version and this Rails plaid shirt with short sleeves as well.
This was also the first time my M. Gemi flats made an appearance too, even though I’ve been wearing them non-stop since they arrived in their gorgeous packaging a few weeks ago. M. Gemi is a newer shoe brand from Italy and they use the most luxurious leather for their footwear. With price points from $125 – $300, they’re more than your everyday shoe, but really affordable when you compare them against other, more familiar Italian brands (think Gucci or Prada). Also – word to the wise, some styles seem to be more flexible on the sole. Mine were a little stiff but are now perfect after a few wears.
Prepping for Vacation
I’m trying to curb my spending with a big vacation coming up in just a few weeks, but I’m currently coveting the Felize flats and the Cammeo pumps. One recommendation with M. Gemi – if you see something you like, get it! Their shoes are selling out in almost every style, including The Stellato flat I purchased.
My last feature item in this post is my new Gigi New York Uber Clutch in Harbor Blue. I went back and forth between the Uber size or the All-in-one. I went with the Uber and while it seemed massive when I got it – I’ve gotten used to it now. It was the perfect accessory this weekend while we were on a couples getaway down in Islamorada in the Florida Keys. I used it when we went to dinner and while we were down at the pool lounging.
Hope this casual look helps you kick off your Monday as we all start to think about what to wear next weekend!
