Happy Monday lovelies! It’s time for a confession… My addiction with Club Monaco is real and it continues with this bell sleeve top! Although these fluttery sleeves have been in style for a few seasons now (I wore one here when Matt and I got engaged!), I haven’t embraced them as much as others. But, when I saw this white clip-dot top with these black ribbon tie details – I was all in. Trend Alert – Bell Sleeve Top
You can’t visit a brand’s website these days or go out to a movie or restaurant lately without seeing someone wearing a bell sleeve top. They’re flirtatious and fun, and I had to have one! When I ran to my favorite Club Monaco store the week before NYFW last month, a handful of the new Spring items were just making their way onto the floor. I tried on this top, along with the blush version, as well as this floral off the shoulder number. Right now I’m thinking about going back for the floral one to have for Paris in a few weeks!
Since the best part of a bell sleeve top is the sleeve itself, it’s best to let it be the standout piece when you wear it. I paired mine with easy black legging jeans and my nude and black captoe slingbacks that have a lower heel.
My Favorite Makeup Products Lately
I’m such a creature of habit when it comes to my “daily look,” so I’ve been pushing myself to try more products. My latest fave, the Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner matte gel eye crayon eyeliner, was sent to me complimentary by Influenster (#highliner #contest). I received both the medium and dark brown colors (Brownie and Earthquake) and I’ve been using the dark brown at least 2-3 times per week for the last month. It stays on all day with no issues (I tend to rub my eyes a lot), and it gives me an easy, everyday smokey eye that I absolutely love.
My other go-to these days is the Hourglass GIRL Lip Stylo (my color is Achiever). Normally you’ll find me wearing a nude lip, but for fashion week I wanted something like my lip color but darker. I wore this for about 3 days and then lost it in an Uber hopping from show to show. But, I loved the way it made my lips feel. They felt softer and fuller. So, I immediately bought another one. It comes in a ton of pretty shades and I’m eyeing the Idealist and Futurist colors next.
