The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is officially live! I had an opportunity to pop into my local store in Boca Raton to shop their selection and grabbed a few things (and did a small online order). I purchased a good amount of the items I had on my wishlist. Shop with Bonnie if you can! Below is a round-up of what I love and brought home with me, plus a few things I passed on that I thought I’d like.

2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Try On Haul
First things first – this square neck button-up vest is my top pick so far. Can we say chic!? I did not expect this to look so cute. But it’s got a good amount of stretch and just lays against your figure so well. Also, the Wit and Wisdom pleated ankle straight leg pants are a DREAM! They are incredibly flattering. I know they’ll be the pair I reach for now for work events and anything where I need to be a bit more dressed up than jeans. At only $49, they are a steal! I’m in a medium in the vest and size 8 in the pants.
Next up, the Farm Rio belted shirtdress (see first pic above!). Ugh, I did not want to try it on because I sort of knew I’d love it. And, I wasn’t sure where I’d wear it. But, it’s just so fun! Plus, it fits so well. I’d say it runs a tad on the big side (I’m in a medium). Since it’s designer it was more of a splurge at $164.99. But, it’s going to look cute on our family vacation in a few weeks. Then, later in fall I’ll style it with tall boots or booties and a long cardigan. It will transition well with the seasons.
Athleisure Look
Another win was this athleisure look with this Varley sheer knit top and the Zella live-in joggers. I’m a BIG fan of nearly everything Varley puts out, but I was on the fence with all their sheer pieces lately. After trying this on, I knew it would be a cute look in general but also great for our beach vacation (it’s marked down to $78 from $110). Add to cart!
The joggers are awesome and affordable at $42.99 – very similar to the Vuori performance jogger. The matching half-zip top is in the mail to me now and will be an easy travel outfit with these New Balance 327 sneakers (I finally caved and got a pair!). Everything runs true to size. I’m in a medium top and pant and size 9 in the shoes.
Dress Selection
The NSale dress selection this year is great. But, I really tried to edit down to just the 1-2 that I wanted. Anything with a puff sleeve is going to make its way onto my radar and this floral midi dress from Thread & Supply was a sure thing since I already own one in another print. I got the medium and it’s got great movement. My hat collection is already bigger than it needs to be, but this felt wool fedora in the sale is a classic that will go with lots of outfits.
Zela
Activewear isn’t normally at the top of my list in the Nordstrom Anniversary sale because I’m sort of a Lulu girl. But, Zella really crushed it this year. This crop tank and high waist legging are their melange material which has next level softness and amazing stretch. I ordered the tan thread color, but they’re all pretty. It looks really cute with this half zip performance top over it too for post-workout or running errands. They all run true-to-size, but the half zip top is fitted. So, size up if you want a little more room (I got the medium and could have done the large too).
Boots, Jeans, and More!
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is known as a time to stock up on current season pieces for fall style. But, since I live in Florida I’m not sure how many more sweaters or boots I need? I tried to be really practical this time around, so while I loved this knit blazer and silk shirt, neither made my final cut.
My skinny jeans (forever going to love this style) are a purchase from last year’s NSale. But they’re back for this year and you do not want to miss them. They’re the same brand as the pleated dress pant above and are only $44.99. They get worn 1-2x per week around here!
More from Zella
Last year’s best seller is this Zella long sleeve t-shirt and it’s back again in some new colors. I got two of the white and one black last year I love it so much. Such a great throw-on-and-go shirt and has a longer hem in the back. Then, wearing the same Zella joggers as above. Perhaps it’s TMI, but they make your butt look so good – always important!
Last up is this tank sportdress from Spanx. Had I not just bought two others from Abercrombie, this would have come home. It’s a different silhouette than other brands and a little flirty with the skirt since it flares a bit at the hip. It’s a bit of a splurge for this kind of item at $89.99. But, I wear these all the time on the weekend. If you’re a mama, it’s a must have with the built-in shorts.
