The 2023 Nordstrom Anniversary sale kicked off this past week with their online preview and I’ve rounded up my wishlist! As I always say, the sale can be hit or miss depending on what you’re shopping for at the moment. But, this year I’m in a spot where I’m still between sizes from being pregnant last year. I don’t want to invest a ton, but I definitely need some pieces that fit better and take me through summer into fall.
Also, the #nsale is great for basics. I have my eye on this white tee and these classic heels, as well as a handful of comfy pajamas (since I live in those with the baby). I’m also v into sneakers right now, with this pair by Rag & Bone being at the top of my list. Then, I’ll probably grab a few fun pieces that are great for work (like this classic black blazer since I mysteriously lost mine a few months ago!).

2023 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is such a fun sale to shop – it honestly feels like Christmas in July! And, to that point, it’s also a great time to get gifts for other people early since there are so many heavily discounted items. I scour through all the categories and pages of clothing, accessories and beauty to find my favorites. Today’s post shares my wishlist. But, you’ll also find my beauty picks, favorite shoes and baby gear must-haves on my shop page.
For sizing reference, I’m normally a medium and wear a size 8 right now (or a 28-29 in jeans). So, when I say something is true to size (or TTS), that’s what I mean!

Nordstrom Moonlight Eco Easy Ribbed Pajamas
I always buy a pair of pajamas in the #nsale and this year won’t be any different. I’m actually thinking about getting three pairs. But, that isn’t so crazy when I consider how many times I’ve worn my favorites postpartum with Everett. This ribbed pair seem like the ones from Skims but at a more affordable price and I always love the Nordstrom quality. They typically run TTS. I’ll also grab the long-sleeved set as well.
Reiss Laura Double Breasted Wool Blend Blazer
As I mentioned above, I recently managed to somehow misplace my favorite black blazer. This double breasted style is a higher end option to this one. But, I love the cut and think it’s a building block in any wardrobe. So, I’m willing to invest a bit more for this specifically as a splurge.
Treasure & Bond Tie Waist Sleeveless Sweater Dress
Every year there is a great sleeveless sweater dress in the Nordstrom sale and this year’s version looks more relaxed and very flattering. A tie waist is great for a lot of people (hello food baby!), but it’s also great for anyone who is pregnant or postpartum like myself. Depending on the stretch, I’ll either get my normal size or size up one!
Madewell Oversized Softfade Cotton T-shirt
I used to think it was silly when other bloggers said they bought basic t-shirts from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. But, now I realize how important simple t-shirts are when you’re a mama. I’m essentially a jungle gym for Everett to crawl on (and spit up on). So, I need more easy tees that are soft that I can throw on but still look put together when I pick him up at daycare. I don’t own a lot of Madewell, but this one looks good.
Open Edit Sleeveless Blazer Minidress
There are a couple of blazer dresses in the 2023 Nordstrom Anniversary sale, but this one is calling my name. I love the angled cut to the buttons and the modest neckline. The reviews say to size up, so I may try that so it isn’t too form fitting. I love this dress for work events and conferences with a simple pair of flats during the day and heels at night (as long as it’s long enough!). It’s a great price point at $59.
Beyond Yoga Ease Into It Midi Tank Dress
Aside from joggers, leggings and pajamas, I live for stretchy athleisure dresses like this one. I love my Lulu, but a close second is Beyond Yoga to me. So, I’m excited to try this dress. It comes in two really fun colors (a taupe and a bright pink) and would look cute with a cropped sweatshirt on top or a long cardi for travel.
2023 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Accessories
Rag & Bone Retro Court Sneaker
I’ve been on the hunt for a chic pair of neutral sneakers that I can wear everyday but also to travel. So, I’m very excited about this pair by Rag & Bone. They come in four colors, but I’m loving the Macadamia Suede. The light color will be great for airport style with joggers and sweats or with casual dresses in summer too. I’m not sure how the sizing runs, so I’ll report back!
Treasure & Bond Felt Panama Hat
These Panama hats are in the #nsale every year, but I’ve never bought one and I regret it. At just $31.99 it’s a great deal and the quality (and fit) honestly rivals my more expensive hats. I am hoping to snag the camel color, but the ivory or black would be great too.
Monica Vinader Heart Pendant Necklace
I love dainty jewelry and I’ve been a fan of Monica Vinader for years (I have one of her signature bangle bracelets). This heart pendant is so simple and I plan to layer it with a few other necklaces I wear daily. It would make a sweet bridal shower gift or birthday present too! The price point is awesome at $89.
L’Agence Antoine Pointed Toe Sandal
These chic sandals were in the sale last year and they sold out so fast. So, I’m hoping to get my hands on a pair this year. Both the cappuccino and black colors are classic, but I’m hoping to get the light pair since it will go with more in my closet.
Fendi Baguette 59MM Butterfly Sunglasses
When it comes to sunglasses, I wear a few pairs on repeat. I love this Fendi style since they’re almost like aviators, but not. We’ll have to see how they look on. But, if these don’t fit my face well I may try these Celine’s instead (a totally different look!).
2023 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Tips
There are some items that sell out every year, so I don’t anticipate the 2023 Nordstrom Anniversary sale will be any different. I specifically didn’t include a few things on my list (I’m looking at you, Barefoot Dreams cardigan…). It’s not because they aren’t nice, but I already have one and it simply isn’t a must-have for me.
To try to get the items you want the most, build a wishlist. You’ll get alerts if the items sell out when they’re back in stock and it’s a simple way to add to cart when you’re able to shop (which depends on your cardholder status).
