Little white dresses are synonymous with summer. Sure, my closet is packed with more than my fair share already. But, like I always say – it’s perfectly acceptable (and smart) to have a uniform that’s built on basics. Scroll down to check 16 cute little white dresses to wear this summer!
Cute Little White Dresses For Summer
Let’s state the facts: white dresses are classic and you can never have enough (see this post and this post as prime examples). It’s basically my job (nay, my duty) to scour retail sites looking at the latest new arrivals. And, lately there has been an abundance of affordable LWD’s that are a must-have for summer.

My Favorite Cute Little White Dresses
Okay, this is legitimately a challenge. I don’t like to play favorites with white dresses because I love them all equally. But, in summer there are so many options, like this boho style from Free People or this linen puff sleeve frock from Abercrombie that’s under $70. So, I had to narrow it down or there might have been 50 instead of 16!
I don’t think I need to sell you on why having at least a few LWD’s is a good idea. But, just in case you’re on the fence hopefully you can humor me for a minute to remind you.
Little white dresses are:
- Classic – you’ll wear them year after year
- Chic – pair with strappy heels and a straw hat for an elevated look
- Transitional – easily go from desk to dinner with a change of shoes
Also, and possibly most importantly, you can find affordable options everywhere, like Target, Nordstrom, Red Dress Boutique, and more. Some of my personal favorites are at Shopbop.
Summer’s Best Little White Dresses:
Look no further! Below I’ve rounded up this summer’s best LWD’s. Everything is under $200, but most are actually under $100. For example, this short sleeve tiered style is a top seller on Amazon, coming in at only $27.
Summer certainly calls for a great mini dress. But, I’m including a handful of midi length options too. A dressier option, this long-sleeve lace style makes me swoon!
